This is what I have been working on lately. This is my first one. I just finished my second one yesterday, I will post as soon as I take a picture of it. I loved making this, it was so much fun. It went really fast after I got the base row on. I am either going to save them for future little ones or give them to Elissa for her hope chest.

This is Ruth (from The Little Red Hens)and I just had to comment on your baby blankets. Did you use a pattern from the Leisure Arts booklet on receiving blankets? I've been making these blankets for years, but not as elaborate as the ones in the booklet. Your edging is absolutely beautiful! I posted some pictures of a few of mine at my sewing blog, SewChic, a blog I also share with my daughter.

Looking at your profile, I think it interesting that we share a lot of the same interests. And we even have the same trifle bowl, lol!

he he, you have the same ironing board cover as me! I love mine. I think the pattern is so pretty and sort of vintage.

Jessica, I love mine too! It is so hard (at least where I live) to find a pretty ironing board cover.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I love the blog that you have with your mom and the one you both have with your mil & sil!
Also congratulations on your recent marriage!
