Nugget Boxes

These are some projects I made back in February for Valentine's Day and for a birthday. I found the directions and ideas on Splitcoast Stampers. (Which is where I get most of my ideas.)They are boxes made from card stock to hold chocolate Nugget candies. I covered the nugget wrappers with scrap booking paper and also some were covered with address labels that I stamped on. These are so fun and easy to make. Here are a few cards that I have made recently. The first two are thank you cards for some of my birthday gifts and the last two I made for our son. Here is a card that I made this morning. We have a ton of February birthdays! This is made with a retired Stampin Up! set called Birthday Wish. I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but it is a 5" square card.

Journals

This is one of my favorite projects. It is fairly easy and makes a lovely gift. My friend Therese taught me how to make them.

Elissa's Prairie Skirt

Here is a skirt that I finished awhile back for Elissa. It is a very easy pattern. It would be great for a beginner.

Yet another baby blanket!

Can you tell that I really like making these blankets. This one is made with flannel.

Baby Bibs

I loved making this bib. It was for a friend at church who just had a sweet little girl last week. This was such a fun pattern. I used Everything But the Baby Layette pattern from Sew Baby. I embroidered the word baby on the denim. It is pink gingham flannel on the top half and back.

This bib above was also made for the same friend.

Another Crochet edged baby blanket

Here is another crochet edged baby blanket. This one was made with seersucker fabric. This was my favorite one yet.

Pictures of Pouches

These pouches are so much fun to make. They would be even nicer to make if I had a walking foot for my machine! ;o) I used this Lazy Girl Designs pattern.
It is called Perfect Pouches. They are sooo easy to make. I used some 30's repro fabric. These three will be for birthday gifts for Elissa friends.


The top one I will use for some of my smaller embroidery projects. I didn't have enough of the front fabric, so I used some pink for the lining and the back. The smaller one is not as wonky as it looks. The camera must have distorted it.

projects

I have finished two projects lately, one you cans see pictures of HERE and the other one I need to wash and iron. The one I have pictures of is a tied fleece blanket and the other one is a tea towel. I will post pictures of my tea towel when it is washed and ironed.
