Knitted Scarves

About 6 weeks ago we were in Phoenix and I got the chance to go to Hobby Lobby. (Yeah!) I fell in love with this yarn. It is a robin's egg blue with brown flecks, and it is super soft. I bought two skeins, because I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it. One and a bit of the second skein made a nice wide scarf for me and the rest of the second scarf made a long, skinny scarf for Elissa.

My scarf.

Elissa's scarf.

In my quest to organize my craft room, I have been finishing unfinished projects. This scarf was knitted with homespun yarn on size 10 needles.

A couple of years ago, I knitted one of my sister-in-laws a scarf for Christmas. She loved it, but lost it. Awhile ago she told me and asked if I would knit her another one. This is the one I made to replace her lost one. It is also knitted on size 10 needles with a gray and black homespun yarn.

Yay for you for completing unfinished projects! The scarves look great. Now that cooler weather is coming, I'm starting to think about getting my knitting out.
