Autumn stitching

Leaf Party by Crab Apple Hill

I finished this banner at the end of last Autumn. I had ran out of my favourite fabric and made it with a green fabric instead and I just was not happy with it. When Joann's started putting out their Autumn fabric they had my favourite fabric again so I bought some more and remade this banner. I am so much happier with it!

Autumn is in the Air by Brittercup Designs

I finished this one recently and just picked up from the framers last week. I have two more being framed right now. I will show you as soon as they are finished. This pattern came with a bonus scissor fob pattern that I made. They also have one for each season that I will be making.

Dear Heather,

Your Autumn banner is beautiful! I love the fabric you used. I love your 'Autumn is in the Air', and squirrel scissor fob! The squirrel is so SWEET!

The cross-stitch in your previous post is all so gorgeous!!! What a gift you have for sewing and stitching!!!

Love, Paula

I love all your works but thr squirrel is my favourite.
I would love to know where you get you get your patterns from and how difficult they are to follow as I am a newbie to it all, just done a few small pieces so far.

Thanks Paula!! You are too sweet!!

Clare,

Thank you! The patterns are very easy. I mainly get my patterns from The Silver Needle and 123 Stitch. The links are on my sidebar.

Love, Heather

Leaf Party is darling. I like the free-style of stitching on a subtle off-white calico. Cross-stitch is my relaxation so I am eyeing your red squirrel. We had one or two scurrying about the woods in Maine keeping away from the larger grey squirrels. It makes a cute scissor fob.
Your stitches are so neat and tidy.
