Projects I am working on..

Here are a few projects that I am working on, depending on what part of the house I am in and what I feel like working on at the time. ;o)

This is a cross-stitch sampler called In the Garden with Jane Austen. The directions call to have it made into a bag, but I am going to have it framed.

This is a Crabapple Hill pattern called Journal Rose. It was one of the patterns I bought with my Christmas gift card from there. I am making it into a pillow for my bedroom.

This is a cross stitch that I have been working on for years! It is an old Paula Vaughan pattern called Tea, Roses and Romance. I am about 2/3 of the way done. There is still a tea cup, a tea pot and a few flowers to go. You can see a picture of my new needle minder up in the right hand corner.

I am making a doily for our tea times. It will be a small one that will fit on my silver tray.

Tea towels

Here are a few tea towels that I made last fall. I love the first one with the cupcake! ;o)

This one is #7 in a series called The Twelve Days of Christmas from Crab Apple Hill. I finished most of the series, but this is the only one I put trim on. The trim is vintage rickrack that I found at an elderly ladies yard sale. The original price for the trim was 13 cents. ;o)

Baby Bibs

I loved making this bib. It was for a friend at church who just had a sweet little girl last week. This was such a fun pattern. I used Everything But the Baby Layette pattern from Sew Baby. I embroidered the word baby on the denim. It is pink gingham flannel on the top half and back.

This bib above was also made for the same friend.
